I was so excited when I saw this pro-woman t-shirt. I love oversized long-sleeve t-shirts for winter days when you just wanna be cas' and the colors and message of this shirt were both right up my alley. I love how bright the text is and how the red green and cream work so well together against the black. I found this shirt on Instagram by a small Los Angeles brand I had recently started following called Thirty Nine Seven. Most of the items in the collection are quite expensive - $220 for a shirt and shorts set (yikes) but I was so relieved to find that this t-shirt was only $45 and bought it the day it released. Since then, it's increased to $60, surely it's been selling well. Graphic tees are so cool, especially when they have something important to say. The shirt says pro-woman on the front and on the back it reads: women do not have to: "be thin. cook for you. have long hair. wear make-up. be feminine. be graceful. have sex with you. diet. be fashionable. wear pink. love men. listen to your bullshit." A little raw in some areas but carries the message well. Why not let your clothing do the talking for you, fashion with a message. Yay for feminism. Might I add, this shirt was designed by a man.. The future looks bright.
